You’ve heard of finger licking good fried chicken but how about toasts so good you don’t just lick, you’ll be sucking your thumb to get the last tastes??? Lol… Of course I’m biased when when it comes to my cooking but try these simple comfort food that you can make in a jiffy. You’ll be glad you did!
Pizza On Toast Recipe (a.k.a. Grilled Ham & Cheese Sandwich à la Semi)
What You’ll Need… (amount to your desire)
1. Sandwich Bread.
2. Store-bought Pasta Sauce (I used Prego’s Traditional Italian Sauce which is tomato based).
3. Mozzarella Cheese.
4. Honey Baked Ham, diced (leftover from Christmas dinner). Yup! I’ve got excellent freezer!
5. Pineapple, diced, optional, if you desire Hawaiian-style.
Method:
Put some sauce on the sandwich bread, top with diced ham and mozzarella cheese. Season with a sprinkling of dried oregano, freshly milled black pepper and dried crushed red pepper. Grill in oven at 200°C – 220°C until sandwich is toasty and cheese melts.
‘Tis better than finger licking good. I bet you’ll suck my toasts! KT did, hahaha…
